Welcome Holy Family Parish to Council 5135
We are delighted to welcome Holy Family Catholic Parish from New Hamburg, Ontario, into the Waterloo Knights of Columbus Council 5135 family! This marks an exciting new chapter as we expand our connection with the faithful across our region.
This welcome is particularly meaningful as it brings our Council’s history full circle. Father Theobald Spetz, for whom Council 5135 is named, served as the administrator of the mission in New Hamburg from 1878 to 1883. That mission would later grow to become Holy Family Parish, making this connection a profound and historic moment for our Council.
Holy Family Parish brings a vibrant community that shares our values of charity, unity, and faith. Together, we look forward to strengthening our outreach, growing in fellowship, and working side by side on programs and initiatives that make a difference in our parishes and beyond.
To the members of Holy Family Parish, we extend a warm invitation to join us in upcoming events, programs, and volunteer opportunities. Whether you’re a long-time Knight, a parishioner looking to get involved, or someone new to our group, there’s a place for you here.
Stay tuned for more updates about Holy Family Parish’s role in Council 5135 as we collaborate to serve our shared community and faith. We are excited to walk this journey together!
