Martin Hickey: King Charles III Coronation Medal Winner
Congratulations to Martin Hickey, brother Knight and Manager of the Columbus Conference Centre, as the well-deserved recipient of the King Charles III Coronation Medal. This medal is awarded to those who have “made a significant contribution to Canada or to a particular province, territory, region or community of Canada, or have made an outstanding achievement abroad that brings credit to Canada”.
Bardish Chagger, MP and Catherine Fife, MPP presented the Award to Martin on Saturday, February 15th at the Valentine Charity Casino at the Columbus Conference Centre.
Martin was completely surprised to receive the award, and credits the many, many volunteers that help with community ventures like the Toy Drive, indicating that this award is really for all of them.
Congratulations again Martin!
